Hey Ya'll! I am truly truly truly excited to go to Swaziland with everyone of you! Cannot wait to see what all God has planned for us!
I'm Chandler! My first name is Hannah, but I have always gone by my middle name. I will be 18 in May, and a soon to be graduate! 🙂 I am originally from Jackson, Mississippi, but a few years ago my family uprooted and moved to to the Delta- Greenwood, Mississippi! It was a big change, but I love it! I still travel to the jackson area almost every weekend. 😉 I have a wonderful wonderful family! I am the oldest of four. I have a sister who is 13, Claire, and twin brothers who are 11, Jack and Sam.God willing, the plan is for me to be at Mississippi State University next fall (majoring in pre-occupational therapy or nursing, havent decided yet) just a few short days after we get back from Swazi! 11 days to be exact! While I am so excited to start this new chapter of my life, I still feel like I just entered highschool! I became a Christian at a young age, but my relationship with Christ did not start untill I was 14 years old. God has time and time again showed me that He wants me to care for those who cannot care for themselves. While I do not yet know how that will apply to my life in the long run just yet, I know He has given me the biggest heart for overseas missions and children. I so want His will for my life, nothing less! So whether I am at in America or overseas, I pray that in all that I do and all that He calls me to do, my God is glorified!
I have actually been to Swaziland before! Summer of 2009, I went on an ambassador trip to Swaziland for a month, just like this trip! (Lindsay went with me 🙂 so excited to see her, and become sweet sweet friends with everyone of you!) While I was there, God totally ripped my heart in half for these people. With all that we went through, the good, the bad and the tough; God showed me how much He loves these people! As my relationship with God has grown, He has given me the greatest desire to care for those who cannot care for themselves, especially children. I am truly BLESSED and EXCITED that He has given me the opportunity to go back and love on those who have been so heavily on my heart since the day I stepted foot back in Mississipp! Word's cannot express!!! My heart races everytime I think about getting to hold, sing, and run around with those precious little ones, pray with those who are in the hopsital and hospice, and grow in prayer and God's word with everyone of YA'LL!!
A few things about me: 🙂 (definitely out of order)
I love having a cheerful heart! I love to smile, laugh and act silly. It's good for the heart. There is a proverb- look it up 🙂
In my opinion, I have the most supportive family and friends anyone could ask for. God answered many prayers, I am blessed blessed blessed!
I am the biggest sinner. I need God's mercies everyday and I wouldnt have it any other way! His grace is enough!
I love to run. bike. but havent been able too lately, due to injury.
I am homeschooled and LOVE it- saw a few people on here (REPRESENT) 🙂
I talk like a southerner. big time. I didnt realize how strong it was untill last time I went to swaziland.
I LOVE love love to sew! really. I'm definitely new at it, but you should totally try it sometime. it's so fun.
There is so much I could probably tell you, but we will definitely all get to know each other well over the next few months! Only a few more left! 🙂 Praying for everyone of you and your preperations for the trip! I cannot wait to spread God's name though all the nations with ya'll!
