HI!
I am extremely excited to be going on this trip in only eight short months! I have been a christian for almost four years and believe God has been calling me to Africa all four of them so I can't wait to fufill His plans for me. I have never been on three week long mission trips inside of the US with my youth group and God has revealed so much to me through them that I know I am meant to be a missionary teacher somewhere and so far He has lead my heart towards Africa (who knows maybe swaziland!)
I am 17 and will turn 18 in December.
I live in Mesquite, TX (five minutes outside of Dallas) and although I love this town I cannot wait to graduate and go to college somewhere new.
I hope to find myself at Indiana University next Fall but if God has other plans I know that they will be better than mine!
Where ever I go I will be majoring in English Education and minoring in French.
I am Student Council president and NHS president at my school; sometimes I wonder why I did this to myself, haha, but it can be very rewarding.
I can be very quiet when I'm first meeting people but that does not last long.
I am in love with kitties, bunnies and puppies; basically all small, cute animals.
I HATE bugs and am sure Africa will help (force) me to get over this fear.
My taste in music is all over the spectrum, but I can't enjoy anything made before the 1990's.
I looooove my family and friends.
I cannot wait to meet everyone going on this trip and have already begun to pray for you all!
