Hi everyone!! I cannot believe that God has given me this amazing opportunity to travel to Swaziland with all you wonderful people and share the love of Christ. I am super excited. I can't wait to meet each and every one of you. πŸ™‚
My name is Kinsey, I am 17 years old, and am a junior at Canton High School in Canton, TX.
I have five siblings-two brothers, three sisters-and I'm the oldest. Cooper is 15, Katy is 12 (13 in April), Carter is 11, Corby is 8, and Callie is 6. They're all wonderful.
My dad is a worship pastor and my mom is a "stay-at-home" momma. They're both inspirations and have been wonderful examples for my future as parents/husband and wife.
I play the piano, guitar, and alto sax. I play the sax for band-marching and symphonic. I'm pretty sure I love piano the most. I also like to sing. It's pretty cool.

I moved to Canton when I was 5, and lived there until I was almost 13. During August 2007, my family and I packed our bags and moved to Westerville, OH. We lived there for almost three years. Then, our family was called back to Canton and moved back in April 2010. I love Westerville and miss it dearly, but I know that God is in control and has a perfect plan for our lives.
My love of lacrosse, theatre, and jazz choir sprouted from our short stay in Ohio. Sadly, my school here in Texas does not have any of those opportunities, but I cherish the time I got to be a part of all that. I also met some quite fantastic people while living in Westerville, and Miss Rachel Kreider is one of those. She is one of my best friends, and is the person who told me about Adventures in Missions. I am so very thankful for her, and am so excited that we'll be going on this trip together!!
I've wanted to be a pediatric missionary ever since I can remember. When I was 12, I decided when I grew up, I wanted to go to Swaziland and build a free health clinic there. When Rachel told me about this trip, I knew God was calling me to go. It was the perfect opportunity!! What could be better then ministering to the people I have wanted to care and heal for so long?! πŸ˜€ I knew this wasn't chance. It was most definitely God. He is so good.
Well, we're leaving in about four months…!!!!!!!! I'll be praying for yall as we spiritually, emotionally, and mentally prepare for this trip. Can't wait to meet you! πŸ™‚
